City Cruise Terminal

2Teck air conditioning were appointed to help create a more comfortable experience within the departure lounge, arrivals lounge and security X -ray area for holiday makers at ABPs City Cruise terminal in Southampton docks. This was achieved via the use of several Mitsubishi Electric VRF systems consisting of over 40 ceiling concealed ducted fan coils. As well as the more conventional VRF systems 2Teck also installed 7 inline duct mounted DX coils across various existing ventilation systems. All of the new Mitsubishi Electric systems were then incorporated in to the clients remote building management system via a centralised controller, giving the end user a greater range of flexibility when it comes to controlling and monitoring their new environment. This project had a very tight deadline which was all scheduled around cruise liner sailing dates, this deadline was not only kept to, but also improved upon by 2Teck air conditioning.
