Surrey County Council Phase 1
Surrey County Council have awarded 2Teck the contracts to expand one of their data centres in Guildford. 2Teck will be deploying a suite of 16 new Rittal server cabinets each with 2 x 32amp electrical supplies provided under the access flooring. Our electrical division are installing the new power supplies ready for when the server cabinets are delivered. Each cabinet’s electrical supply will be from separate data centre distribution boards to allow for maintenance without interrupting data services. With the highly critical nature of the data centre all of 2Teck’s engineering teams have been briefed with a bespoke installation methodology to ensure services remain unaffected by the work. Clear communication and close liaison with the customer is key to successfully delivering this project.
