Lakeside Hearing Loops
Lakeside Country Park in Eastleigh consists of 22 hectares of woodland and wetland with a recently built facilities centre at it’s core with offices and rentable space. To enable the centre to be utilised by those with hearing difficulties, 2Teck’s Communications division have now commissioned a fixed underfloor induction loop system which, when linked to specially located microphones within the rooms, provides audio wirelessly to hearing aids without the need for any additional specialised equipment. To enable maximum flexibility we have also deployed a mobile induction loop system that can be carried by those conducting external walks and talks. The above solutions help to ensure that the Country Park is compliant with the Disability Discrimination Act (1995).
