The Future Is LED

From September 2021 sales of halogen lightbulbs are to be stopped in production and become obsolete, legislation will also include moves to phase out high-energy fluorescent lightbulbs such as strip lights commonly found in offices, with a view to bringing an end to their sale from September 2023. It is expected to mean LEDs will account for 85% of all bulbs sold by 2030.

LEDs are of course the future, which last 5 times longer than the traditional halogen bulbs, producing the same amount of light but use up to 80% less power. As a result of this change utility bills are reduced and we can help tackle climate change.
